Southlake Hospital Sensory Bag Project
Southlake Hospital Sensory Bag Project Delivery - Michael Cimini, Natalie Abkarian Cimini, Raffi Abkarian, Lorenzo Cimini, Leo Cimini, Dionne and Ashleigh from Southlake Hospital (left to right)
My brother Raffi, owner of Elite Motor Canada, has been a quiet but steadfast supporter of our charity from the very beginning. His generosity and selflessness shine through in everything he does, he truly has the biggest heart.
When I shared the idea of providing sensory bags for Southlake Hospital, Raffi didn’t hesitate for a moment. His immediate “yes” is a perfect example of the compassion that drives him.
It’s because of donors like Raffi that we’re able to turn meaningful ideas into reality, and we are endlessly grateful for his support.
Charity ambassadors Leo and Lorenzo assembled all 50 bags and we’re so proud of them because they take on all these initiatives with a big smile. They’re learning so many skills at home, at fundraisers and markets and we’re so proud of how far they’ve come.
The sensory bags were carefully curated to support neurodiverse pediatric patients during their hospital visit/stay and all products were purchased from Canadian businesses.
Silly Squish Slime (scented slime)
Dough Perfect (scented playdough)
Creative Beginning (chalkboard based puzzle)
FDMT (noise cancelling headphones and anger management cards)
Indigo Kids (push n pins and fidget balls)
Teampro Promotions (stuffed monkeys, branded bags and sensory meditation stickers)
Crayola Canada (wixels)
Natalie Abkarian Cimini (Understanding Lenny: A Book About a Boy with Autism) - Purchased from Natalie’s author account at cost
Vistaprint (cards with information about charity and sponsor)
We believe these sensory bags will make a meaningful difference for neurodiverse pediatric patients, helping them feel more comfortable, regulated, and supported during what can often be a stressful and overwhelming experience. They will also empower Southlake Hospital to foster a more inclusive and responsive environment for every child.
At For Little Monkeys Charity, our mission has always been to support neurodiverse children at home through sensory rooms and kits. Now, we’re thrilled to expand that impact by bringing more community-based projects to life, ensuring the broader neurodiverse community feels seen, valued, and supported.
If you’d like to be part of this journey, please email us to learn more about our sponsorship packages and help us continue turning these projects into reality.
Lots of love,
Natalie Abkarian Cimini, President/Founder For Little Monkeys Charity
