The Advisory Committee is a non-governing body of subject-matter experts, lived-experience voices, and community stakeholders who provide strategic insight and community engagement input.
The Advisory Committee acts as a trusted thought partner to the Board in bringing in community perspective, professional insight and bold ideas to shape inclusive, high-impact programming.
Alex Christopoulos, CEO, ICON Digital
Alex Christopoulos is a dedicated executive with over 25 years of experience in Finance and Accounting, including 18 years as CFO. He became CEO of ICON Digital Productions on January 1, 2024. ICON, a global leader in Visual Communications Media, continues to grow and evolve under his leadership, with a focus on innovation, strong client partnerships, and long-term sustainability.
Throughout his career, Alex has been known for his collaborative leadership style, strategic thinking, and commitment to building strong, people-focused teams. He has played a key role in leading ICON through major changes, including technology upgrades and successful acquisitions.
Outside of work, Alex is a passionate community supporter with a strong commitment to philanthropy, especially causes related to autism. He actively supports organizations such as the Geneva Centre for Autism, For Little Monkeys Charity, and the MLSE Foundation, and is a proud advocate for children and families affected by autism. Giving back has always been an important part of his life, and he’s grateful for the opportunity to contribute to meaningful initiatives that create real impact.
Alex is also a proud father of three boys and volunteers as a youth soccer coach. He values mentorship, inclusion, and staying connected to those around him. Whether in business or in everyday life, he leads with empathy, teamwork, and a genuine desire to help others.
Christina Collura, Founder & CEO, Creative Beginning Inc
Christina Collura is the passionate founder and CEO of Creative Beginning INC., an award-winning company dedicated to supporting the developmental growth of children of all abilities through play-based, inclusive learning tools. As a full-time kindergarten teacher and mother of two, including a child with autism, Christina created the signature chalkboard puzzle concept—a tool that has transformed learning for thousands of children by bridging fine motor skills, early literacy, and numeracy in a multisensory way.
Under Christina’s leadership, Creative Beginning has grown from a personal mission into a nationally recognized educational brand. In 2025, Christina secured a partnership with Walmart Canada at their first-ever Walmart Summit, marking a pivotal milestone in expanding access to inclusive learning tools for families across the country.
Her work has earned distinctions such as the Mom’s Choice Award, recognition as a Top 50 RBC Woman of Influence, and finalist status in the Total Mom Pitch and Astra Play Awards. Christina joins the advisory council with a deep understanding of child development, inclusive education, and entrepreneurial innovation—and a commitment to amplifying the voices of children, families, and educators everywhere.
Michael Cimini, Co-Founder, For Little Monkeys Charity
Michael Cimini is a passionate autism advocate, dedicated father, and seasoned operations professional who brings both heart and expertise to every endeavor he undertakes. With two autistic sons, Michael has a deep personal understanding of the needs and challenges faced by children on the spectrum and their families. His lived experience fuels his commitment to supporting inclusive, impactful initiatives that make a real difference in the lives of autistic individuals.
As an Advisory Committee member, Michael brings a powerful combination of hands-on volunteer experience and a strong background in people and project management. For years, he has been an integral part of the charity's operations, ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently behind the scenes. Whether he's organizing events, streamlining internal processes, or supporting outreach efforts, Michael is known for his reliability, empathy, and attention to detail.
With a professional background in managing teams, projects and overseeing complex operations for over 15 years, Michael understands how to move initiatives forward strategically while maintaining the compassion and integrity that are at the heart of the charity’s mission. His dual role as a father and a professional allows him to bring a unique, human-centered perspective to the Advisory Committee, one that bridges strategic vision with personal insight.
