Charity Hockey Game

What an incredible experience! We teamed up with Sam Daskalopoulos from Scoring Goals for the Community to host our 1st Charity Hockey Game on Saturday September 27th at the Stouffville Arena. Scoring Goals for the Community has supported numerous charities since 2017 and has raised over $169,000 for various causes. We are so grateful for Sam’s support and couldn’t have done this without him. Be sure to follow Scoring Goals for the Community on Instagram for updates on future events.

We had a number of sponsors who supported us and we are so grateful for their generosity:

Thank you to all the players who registered to join our teams to help fundraise and support a good cause. Your dedication, sportsmanship and heart turned this game into something truly special. You didn’t just play a great game, you played for a cause that matters. Every shift, every goal, every cheer from the crowd helped bring hope and support to the families we serve.

At the end of the day, the final score wasn’t what mattered most because the real winners are the families whose lives will be touched by your efforts.

Thank you for making a difference, both on and off the ice!

We are so grateful for Mayor Lovatt, who has shown his commitment to the neurodiverse community and dedication to create a more inclusive Town. Thank you Mayor Lovatt for taking time out of your busy schedule to join us and for your kind words.

Thank you to all our volunteers, incredible Town and Arena staff, Board Members and Advisory Committee members for your support! We had over 150 guests in the stands and are so blessed to see the community come together for a good cause.

The event, sponsors, silent auction and online donations raised a total of $20,748!! These funds will be used to build sensory rooms for families with neurodiverse children in the coming months.
